The William Jessup University Public Policy Department, in cooperation with the WJU Veterans organization, will host the University’s 10th日本一本道a不卡免费 annual Veterans Day celebration on Monday, November 12.
日本一本道a不卡免费The ceremony will begin at 8:00 a.m. at the flagpole, located in front of the growing university in Rocklin.
“The Public Policy Department is honored to recognize the veterans of this community,” said Keith Bolte, event organizer and lead faculty member of William Jessup’s Public Policy Department. “Veterans Day is an opportunity to recognize their remarkable service on our behalf and reflect on the freedoms they helped protect for us.”
The Veteran’s Day ceremony features opening remarks from Jessup’s President, John Jackson followed by special musical performances from members of the surrounding community. Jessup’s student led veterans organization will introduce the Pledge of Allegiance as well as keynote speaker, Lieutenant Colonel Christopher W. Steuer, unit assistant director of operations and RQ-4 evaluator pilot at Beale Air Force Base.
日本一本道a不卡免费Steuer oversees 13 RS support to formal training operations and a team of eight officers and four enlisted personnel. The RQ-4 provides signals and near real-time imagery intelligence to fulfill operational requirements to execute Sensitive Reconnaissance Operations and combat support Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR) missions.
Steuer also served in a variety of assignments in the Regular Air Force, Air National Guard and the Air Force Reserve. He is a senior navigator with more than 2,000 flying hours, including over 500 hours in the Global Hawk and over 1,100 combat hours in the C-130.
William Jessup University was recently ranked second in the ‘Best Schools for Veterans’ category according to U.S. News & World Report.
日本一本道a不卡免费Last August, the University welcomed 47 veterans to campus and continues to participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program, which offers any veteran who has served on active duty for at least 36 aggregate months since 9/11 to have the complete cost of tuition covered in any program the university offers. The University also offers a Veterans Endowment to help cover any additional educational costs veterans may incur.
